Legacy
CROSS Legacy was formed in the year end of
2006 by Herbert, Jagan, Edward, Bonnie and Ben from Bangalore, India. They are a
Christian band and play classic metal style, basically melodic! Initially the
band started off having regular jamming sessions and focused on writing and
composing original music. Having more originals and foreseeing their strength,
the band played more of their own compositions and less of covers in their live
shows.
“Cheshire home: live to share” was the UK born Ben’s last performance with the
band, since he had to leave the band and relocate to New York to pursue his
career. After Ben the keyboardist’s departure, there were no new recruits to
fill in his place and the band carried the commission as a four piece band
having the lineup as, Edward on Vocals, Herbert on Lead Guitars, Bonnie on Bass,
and Jagan on Drums. CROSS Legacy went on performing at various gigs and
concerts and was well received by the audience specially the song “Eagle”. With
other bands CROSS Legacy does the opening act for International Christian
artist John Schlitt of Petra (The world’s best Christian Rock band) on 17th May,
2008. The band has played couple of featured concerts like “Coffee connection
with CROSS Legacy at Bangalore Vineyard (USA), “From the manger to the
world featuring CROSS Legacy at abhYam - a drug rehabilitation centre.

Hall of Fame" CD (2009) and also was aired on Bangalore's prime FM radio station

International AIRing again...! on Jango airplay, U.S.A The song "I Am" did
rotation on Jango Radio and being played to Jango’s 7 million listeners. The
year end of 2009 saw Herbert leave the band as he had to locate in the U S, the
band wished him "all the very best" and honored his decision. Mean while CROSS
Legacy was looking for a new guitarist and found 'Melodic - Powerhouse'
axe man Job. The rubber hits the road in full throttle!
The band members say “the very reason of CROSS Legacy to exist is not
just about playing music, it’s our personal experiences in life, of all the odds
which come against... each one of us receive life as a gift and face it with
love, hope, purpose and most importantly to be a good human being. This life
giving positive message and attitude from the Above which strengthens us to
carry on at any situation, inspires us to write and compose music.”
Have good fun and do not abuse music... "Say NO to drugs and alcohol" play music
from your heart, not of different spirits! Life & your very soul is a gift,
don't sell or ruin it. Keep your true spirit burning and say cheers to life.
“Life can sail both easy and rough at times… just keep the faith… He is your
anchor…”
